InnoGrit Showcases Next-Generation PCIe 6.0 and CXL Storage Technologies at FMS 2026

2026-08-08

PCIe 6.0 NVMe SSD Demonstration Reaches 10 Million IOPS

At FMS 2026, InnoGrit showcased a live demonstration of its PCIe 6.0 x4 NVMe SSD solution, achieving 10 million IOPS in 512-byte random reads on a PCIe Gen5 server paired with a PCIe 6.0 switch.

Designed for AI/ML and Storage-Next workloads, the SSD is available in 800GB and 1600GB capacities, delivering the low-latency, high-concurrency performance required by next-generation infrastructure. Performance is expected to scale further as native PCIe Gen6 servers reach the market.

This FMS 2026 demonstration reflects InnoGrit’s continued investment in AI storage infrastructure and its commitment to advancing the PCIe 6.0 ecosystem alongside industry partners.

CXL-Attached NAND Extends the Storage Portfolio into Emerging Memory Tiers

Complementing the PCIe 6.0 SSD demonstration, InnoGrit also showcased a CXL-attached NAND device (Type 3, compliant with CXL 3.1), featuring a 512GB module designed for hierarchical memory applications. In the demo, the device achieved 1GB/s throughput under a 70/30 random read/write workload with 512-byte data transfers.

As AI and data-intensive workloads demand larger and more sophisticated memory hierarchies, CXL-attached NAND offers a compelling new memory tier between DRAM and traditional block storage. It can extend memory capacity at significantly lower cost than DRAM while supporting fine-grained access patterns that conventional block storage is not designed to efficiently handle.

This demonstration extends InnoGrit’s storage expertise across CXL, memory expansion, and NAND flash as emerging memory-tier architectures continue to mature.

Alongside the PCIe 6.0 and CXL demonstrations, InnoGrit showcased TLC- and QLC-based PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 SSDs with configurable Flexible Data Placement (FDP). Together, the portfolio reflects mature controller technology while extending the roadmap toward higher bandwidth, IOPS, scalability, and efficiency for next-generation enterprise and AI workloads.
